I very much enjoyed seeing the work of Belgian artist Tom Dekyvere at The Lowry recently. Through the installation, titled ‘Nervous’, the artist was responding to the building and creating a temporary artwork exploring reality and the human mind. The installation is free to visit and is suspended in the Lowry's public spaces. At night, interactive technology allows visitors to use their own brain waves to change the lighting and overall effect of the artwork. Very beautifully crafted and an interesting work to study from the multiple vantage points within the architecturally rich surroundings of the Lowry. It's well worth a look and the exhibition run has been extended until the 29th September 2018.
